Friday Favorites

I'm excited to start a new series for my blog called "Friday Favorites." As consistently as I can be with a 15-month-old, I will be posting about clothes, products, baby items, really anything I find that I love. Since I've begun a more simplistic (but not extreme minimalistic) lifestyle, I'm only going to be posting about things that I use on a consistent basis or something that I just love, like this precious romper!

I'm starting this series with my new favorite romper from Arrows and Lace Boutique. I was initially attracted to Arrows and Lace Boutique by their beautiful baby clothes. But I also intrigued by the name "Arrows and Lace."

Not many people know this but Ellie's middle name is "Row" short for "arrow." My husband Ben came up with this name after reading Psalm 127: 4-5 that says "Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them."

What we desire and pray for the most for Ellie is that she would love the Lord with all of her heart and that like an arrow, she would be shot out into this world as a light for Jesus, spreading the good news of the gospel.

On days when Ellie is particularly defiant, energetic, independent, and stubborn, I pray that like her dad, she would one day use those attributes to lead with strength and grace.

But back to why I love this romper. I generally like one piece clothing items because they're easier to put on, but I really love this romper because of the beautiful pattern and the fact that it's something I would consider wearing if it came in my size.

The romper is made out of a polyester material so it's easy to wipe off with a wet cloth if she gets it dirty. (which is all the time)

She wasn't feeling the bow. It's impossible to keep anything in her hair these days, even though she desperately needs something to keep her bangs out of her hair.
